"Flowering Snowball Block" - Acrylic Templates - 9 inch finished block. A traditional block, which when joined to other block forms a secondary Circle pattern. Skill level: Intermediate (curves). This block can be hand-pieced, or machine-pieced (see helpful Tutorials listed below).
This set of 3 pieces of hand-made, laser-cut 1/8th inch thick Acrylic Templates will help you to accurately cut and sew this traditional block. The templates will help you to cut multiple pieces of fabric more quickly and accurately, using a rotary cutter. (We recommend using the 28mm size rotary blade).
Finished block size is 9 inches. (See other listings for 6 inch or 12 inch finished blocks)
These templates include a 1/4 inch (or 3/8 inch) cutting line added to the pattern, for use with a rotary-cutter. The seam-line is etched 1/4 inch in from the cutting line, with pin-holes cut at each seam intersection (1/16th inch or 1.5mm diameter pin-hole, for use with a mechanical or clutch or propeller pencil). The pattern name and piece letter is also engraved on each piece.
The templates are precision cut with our Laser-Cutter, from Cast Acrylic Sheet or Plexiglass, and are hand-polished. There is a choice of transparent colours (depending on availability), at no extra charge.
